The LCK 2026 Split 3 Rise Group featured another important series on August 6 as Kiwoom DRX (KRX) faced DN Supers (DNS). Both teams entered the match knowing every victory could make a huge difference in the race for a Play-In spot.
DNS arrived with renewed confidence after ending their long losing streak. Meanwhile, KRX hoped to continue their strong run following the arrival of Aiming and the excellent form of Ucal.
In the end, Kiwoom DRX proved to be the better team. They controlled objectives, executed cleaner team fights, and punished nearly every mistake from DNS. As a result, KRX secured a convincing 2-0 victory and strengthened their position in the Rise Group standings.

KRX Continue Their Strong Form
Kiwoom DRX have become one of the most improved teams in the Rise Group. The addition of Aiming has given the roster much more stability in the bottom lane. At the same time, Ucal continues to lead the team with outstanding performances in the mid lane.
DNS also entered the series with momentum. However, they struggled to match KRX’s pace. Small mistakes during the early game quickly turned into major disadvantages. Because of that, DNS spent most of the series trying to recover instead of controlling the game.

KRX punish DNS early
The first few minutes remained fairly even. Both teams focused on farming while contesting vision around the river.
However, KRX struck first. They punished an overextension in the bottom lane and secured the opening kill. That play immediately gave KRX control of the early game.
DNS tried to respond soon afterward. Sharvel attempted an aggressive gank in the middle lane with Qiyana. Unfortunately, the play failed. Ucal survived the attack and picked up an important kill. He also claimed the double buffs.
That moment completely changed the game.
Ucal controls the map
After gaining an early advantage, Ucal became the center of every successful KRX play. He constantly pushed the mid lane. Then he roamed toward both side lanes. He also worked closely with Willer to invade the enemy jungle.
Because of that pressure, DNS struggled to secure vision. They also lost control of important neutral objectives. Meanwhile, Frog remained solid in the top lane. Aiming also farmed safely and reached his key items without much pressure.
KRX slowly built a larger gold lead. More importantly, they never gave DNS an opportunity to fight back.
KRX dominate every objective fight
DNS attempted to contest several dragons. They hoped to slow KRX’s momentum before the game became impossible.
However, KRX looked far more organized. Andil protected his teammates perfectly with Shen. At the same time, Willer’s Jarvan IV found strong engages. Ucal dealt massive damage throughout every team fight.
Eventually, KRX secured the Chemtech Soul. That objective removed almost every chance of a DNS comeback.
Afterward, KRX grouped together. They quickly destroyed DNS’s defensive towers and inhibitors. Soon after, they ended the first game to take a 1-0 series lead.

Game 2: Aurora Becomes the Difference Maker
Draft
Kiwoom DRX
- Frog — Jayce
- Willer — Lee Sin
- Ucal — Aurora
- Aiming — Miss Fortune
- Andil — Nautilus
DN Supers
- DuDu — Yorick
- Sharvel — Skarner
- Clozer — Viktor
- deokdam — Sivir
- Peter — Karma

Lee Sin creates another early advantage
DNS changed their strategy for the second game. They drafted a composition built around Viktor and Sivir. The goal was simple. Survive the early game and become stronger during the late game.
KRX never allowed that plan to work. Willer played an excellent Lee Sin. He invaded the enemy jungle from the opening minutes. He also pressured every lane whenever possible.
As a result, Sharvel struggled to find opportunities with Skarner. Meanwhile, Aiming farmed comfortably on Miss Fortune. He quickly completed his first core items and became a major threat.
KRX once again entered the mid game with a healthy advantage.
Aurora wins every important fight
DNS refused to give up. They defended well around several objectives. They also delayed KRX’s push for a while.
Nevertheless, KRX always found the better engage. Andil repeatedly started fights with Nautilus. His hooks forced DNS into difficult positions. Immediately afterward, Ucal followed with perfectly timed Aurora ultimates.
Those abilities trapped several DNS players together.
As a result, Aiming could freely channel Bullet Time from the backline. Every successful team fight increased KRX’s advantage.
Little by little, DNS lost control of the map.
Baron secures the clean sweep
KRX eventually won another decisive fight. They immediately secured Baron Nashor. The Baron buff gave KRX complete control of the map. They grouped in the middle lane and pushed into DNS’s base.
DNS attempted one final defense. However, Aurora once again disrupted the entire formation. At the same time, Miss Fortune dealt massive damage from a safe position.
KRX eliminated the remaining defenders before destroying the Nexus.
The victory completed a clean 2-0 sweep.

Ucal Earns Player of the Match
Ucal was the best player on the Rift throughout the entire series.
His Ryze completely controlled the first game. He dominated the mid lane, roamed efficiently, and led KRX during every important objective fight.
His Aurora performance in Game 2 was just as impressive.
Every ultimate created space for his teammates. Every engage forced DNS into unfavorable positions. Those plays allowed Aiming to deal consistent damage throughout every fight.
Because of his impact across both games, Ucal deservedly received the Player of the Match (POM) award.

KRX Continue to Build Momentum
This victory gives Kiwoom DRX another important boost in the Rise Group standings.
The partnership between Ucal and Aiming continues to improve every week. Ucal controls the pace of the game through smart decision-making. Meanwhile, Aiming provides reliable damage whenever team fights begin.
Willer also deserves significant praise. His aggressive jungle pathing created early advantages in both games. Those leads allowed KRX to dictate every major objective throughout the series.
DNS showed determination despite the defeat. The team continued fighting until the very end of both games. However, their early-game mistakes proved too costly.
If DNS hope to stay in the Play-In race, they must improve their coordination around neutral objectives. They also need cleaner execution during the opening stages of each game.
Final Result

- Game 2: KRX victory
