Kha Y Tran T1 proved their strength again at MSI 2026. On July 1, the LCK giants beat TLAW 3-0. As a result, they took the final spot in the Bracket Stage.
The score looked one-sided. However, the first two games were not easy. TLAW pushed T1 in many fights. Still, T1 stayed calm. They controlled key objectives better. In the end, Faker and his teammates showed more experience.

T1 vs TLAW: A Decisive MSI 2026 Match
This match decided the last Bracket Stage ticket. Therefore, both teams had a lot to fight for.
T1 entered as the favorite. Meanwhile, TLAW wanted to extend their Play-In run. They started with strong energy. However, T1 were sharper in the biggest moments.
T1 did not only win the series. They also controlled the map better. Moreover, they punished mistakes faster. Because of that, they closed the match in three games.
Game 1: Keria and Oner Lead the Way
T1 started Game 1 with clear intent. Doran gave them the first big edge. He solo killed Morgan in the top lane. After that, T1 kept attacking the same side of the map.
Keria’s Bard then became a major problem for TLAW. He roamed often. He helped his teammates find kills. As a result, Morgan fell far behind early. By minute nine, he was already 0/3.
Keria also used Tempered Fate very well. He started fights with it. In addition, he stopped TLAW players from recalling. That gave T1 more time to control the map.
Still, TLAW did not give up. They found some picks. They also secured the Rift Herald. For a short time, they slowed T1 down.
However, Oner changed the game at the third Chemtech Dragon. He stole the dragon with Smite when it had only 1 HP left. After that, T1 won the fight. They wiped TLAW and ended the game in 27 minutes.
T1 led the series 1-0.

Game 2: Oner Saves T1 Again
Game 2 was much closer. Both teams picked strong damage champions. Therefore, the game quickly became chaotic.
T1 started well again. Faker helped secure First Blood with an aggressive tower dive. Oner also gave his lanes early pressure. Because of that, T1 built a small gold lead.
However, TLAW answered back. Yeon’s Varus shined in a dragon fight. He scored a Triple Kill and helped TLAW take back control.
Oner successfully stole the dragon, leaving T1 with a clear opportunity.
Soon after, Peyz responded with a solo kill on Yeon. This helped T1 steady the game. From there, both teams traded blows.
Quid also played well on Sylas. His strong fights helped TLAW secure the first Baron. At that point, TLAW looked ready to tie the series.
Even so, Oner once again made the key play. At 28:18, he stole another important dragon. TLAW still won the fight afterward thanks to Morgan’s Rumble ultimate. However, the stolen dragon kept T1 alive.
Later, Peyz and Doran stepped up. They helped T1 win back control and secure Baron.
In the final moment, TLAW tried to trade Baron for Dragon. However, T1 denied that plan. They took Baron, stopped the Dragon, and then wiped TLAW. With that, T1 won Game 2 and moved to match point.

Game 3: Peyz Gets a Pentakill
Game 3 was the most one-sided game of the series. T1 entered with full confidence. Meanwhile, TLAW looked shaken after losing Game 2.
From the start, T1 controlled the pace. Oner kept appearing at the right time. Because of that, every lane had space to play.
TLAW could not find a comeback angle. T1 took every major objective. They also pushed down towers and grew their gold lead.
Then came the biggest highlight of the match. Peyz delivered a stunning Pentakill in the final fight. It was a perfect way to end his strong series.

After the Pentakill, T1 pushed into the base and ended the game. The 3-0 sweep was complete.

T1 Move Into the MSI 2026 Bracket Stage
With this win, T1 officially reached the MSI 2026 Bracket Stage. More importantly, they showed why many fans still see them as title contenders.
The series was not perfect. Game 2 exposed some problems. However, T1 stayed calm when it mattered most. Their objective control was better. Their late-game calls were also cleaner.
Oner was one of the biggest stars of the match. His dragon steals changed the series. Meanwhile, Peyz gave T1 huge firepower in team fights. His Pentakill in Game 3 was the final statement.
Faker also brought stability and leadership. Even when TLAW pushed back, T1 did not panic.
Now, T1 will move on to the Bracket Stage. If they keep this form, they will remain one of the strongest teams at MSI 2026.
