KT Rolster Begin Round 3 With a Huge Win
KT entered the match with an unexpected lineup change. Rookie FenRir joined the starting roster shortly before the series.
Despite that setback, KT played with confidence from start to finish. The team communicated well, fought together, and made smart decisions around major objectives.
On the other hand, T1 looked strong early in both games. However, they lost control once the matches reached the mid game. As a result, KT punished them around every important objective.
Game 1: KT Complete an Incredible Comeback
T1 made the better start. Oner’s Vi secured an early double kill after a successful bottom lane gank. Therefore, T1 quickly gained the early gold lead.
KT answered almost immediately. Bdd saved his teammates during a fight near the middle lane. After that, KT won the skirmish, killed Peyz and Keria, and claimed the first Dragon.
Later, Faker’s Akali helped T1 regain momentum. His aggressive plays around the top side gave T1 another advantage.
From that point, the game stayed close. Both teams traded towers, Dragons, and teamfight wins. Neither side could build a large lead. The biggest moment came near Baron.
KT caught Faker before the objective spawned. They immediately secured Baron. T1 tried to fight back, but Perfect survived Vi’s ultimate and bought enough time for his teammates to arrive.
KT won the fight. Then they pushed down the lane and destroyed the Nexus for a 1-0 lead.

Game 2: Bdd Takes Over
KT started Game 2 in perfect fashion. Bdd’s Yone picked up an early Triple Kill. Because of that play, KT gained full control of the map.
T1 refused to give up. Instead, they attacked the side lanes whenever Yone was away. That strategy kept them close throughout the mid game. Around the 25-minute mark, T1 finally found a strong engage. They killed Bdd first and stopped KT from taking Dragon Soul.
Unfortunately, they could not keep the momentum. Only minutes later, Oner and Doran were caught out of position. KT instantly secured Baron. Soon afterward, they also claimed Ocean Dragon Soul. The final fight ended the series.
Perfect landed a perfect Rumble Equalizer. The ultimate trapped T1 and blocked every escape route. Peyz and Oner fell almost instantly.
KT then wiped out the remaining players. Finally, they pushed into the base and completed a convincing 2-0 sweep.

Why KT Won the Series
KT played the late game much better than T1.
Bdd controlled every important fight. He constantly found the right angles and created space for his teammates.
Perfect also delivered several game-changing plays. His positioning stayed excellent throughout the series. Most importantly, his Rumble ultimate ended Game 2.
FenRir also impressed in his first series with the main roster. Although he lacked experience, he played confidently and made very few mistakes.
T1’s Biggest Problem Remains the Same
T1 still have incredible individual talent.
Faker, Oner, Keria, Doran, and Peyz continue to win the early game. However, the team keeps struggling after 20 minutes.
Their communication often breaks down around Baron and Dragon fights. As a result, they lose winning positions far too often.
The same issue appeared during MSI 2026. Unfortunately for T1 fans, it also appeared again against KT.
If the defending world champions want another deep playoff run, they must improve their late-game decision-making.
What This Result Means
KT earned more than just a series win.
The victory strengthens their position in the Legend Group. It also gives the team valuable confidence before the next round of matches.
Meanwhile, T1 now face enormous pressure. Their next opponent is Gen.G, one of the strongest teams in the league.
Another defeat could seriously damage T1’s hopes of finishing near the top of the standings.
Final Thoughts
KT Rolster fully deserved their 2-0 victory over T1.
The team stayed patient, controlled every key objective, and punished T1’s mistakes. Bdd led the way with another outstanding performance, while Perfect and FenRir made important contributions.
For T1, the defeat is another warning sign. The team can still dominate the early game. However, until they fix their late-game coordination, they will continue to struggle against the LCK’s best teams.
