Kha Y Tran The relationship between Bin and Bilibili Gaming (BLG) has become one of the biggest talking points in the LPL community. Recently, several Weibo posts claimed that Bin accepted a pay cut. The goal was to help BLG sign Viper and head coach Daeny. However, the reports also say he never received the role he expected.
At this point, none of these claims have been confirmed. BLG, Bin, Viper, and Daeny have all stayed silent.

Rumors Say Bin Accepted a Lower Salary
According to posts on Weibo, BLG faced salary cap pressure before the 2026 season. Because of that, Bin reportedly agreed to reduce his salary. This decision would give the organization more room to sign Viper and Daeny.
If the reports are true, Bin made a major sacrifice for the team. Meanwhile, BLG planned to make Viper the main carry. At the same time, Daeny was expected to build a system around the Korean ADC.
On paper, the plan looked strong. After all, Viper is one of the world’s best AD carries. Likewise, Daeny has coached several successful teams. Therefore, many fans believed BLG had assembled a championship roster.
Split 1 Did Not Meet Expectations
However, the season did not start as planned.
During LPL Split 1 2026, BLG struggled to find consistency. Although Viper played well in many games, the team still depended heavily on Bin. Time after time, the top laner created winning plays when BLG needed them most.
Because of this, fans started asking questions. If the team wanted to play around Viper, why was Bin still carrying so much of the workload?
Many supporters believe Bin gave up personal benefits while continuing to shoulder the biggest responsibility. As a result, rumors about internal tension quickly spread across the community.
Even so, these stories remain unverified. No official source has confirmed them.
BLG Changed Its Style in Split 2
In Split 2, BLG appeared to adjust its strategy. This time, the team invested more resources into the top lane. The goal was to help Bin have a greater impact.
However, the changes did not solve every problem. Bin still played weak-side champions in many matches. Because of that, he often had to survive difficult lane matchups before helping his team later.
At the same time, criticism continued. Whenever BLG lost, many fans blamed Bin first. Consequently, debates about his role became even louder.
Some fans believe BLG has not used Bin’s strengths properly. Others argue that his individual form also dropped during the season. Therefore, opinions remain divided.
Bin Struggled at MSI and the Esports World Cup 2026
The discussion became even bigger after MSI 2026 and the Esports World Cup 2026.
Bin did not look as dominant as he had in previous years. Instead, his influence on games became smaller. Meanwhile, BLG also struggled against several top international teams.
Soon afterward, reports claimed Bin would temporarily leave BLG’s starting lineup during the opening stage of LPL Split 3 2026.
Although BLG never explained the decision, many fans connected it with the ongoing rumors. As a result, speculation continued to grow.
Did Viper and Daeny Cause the Problem?
If the rumors are true, BLG’s issues go beyond one player’s performance. Every superstar roster faces difficult choices. Teams must decide how to divide resources, leadership, and responsibility. Therefore, conflicts can happen even when every player is talented.
Some fans believe Daeny wanted to build around Viper. Meanwhile, Bin remained BLG’s biggest playmaker. If both ideas existed at the same time, balancing the team would become very difficult.
However, there is no official proof supporting this theory. No trusted source has confirmed that Daeny favored Viper or that Bin disagreed with the team’s direction.
Fans Are Split
The rumors have created major debates across Weibo and other League of Legends forums. One group believes Bin sacrificed too much. They argue that BLG should build around its star top laner instead of changing strategies.
On the other hand, another group supports Daeny’s possible decisions. They believe every coach should choose the system that gives the team the best chance to win.
Meanwhile, many others are asking fans to stay patient. They point out that every major claim still comes from unverified online reports.
BLG Has Not Made an Official Statement
The biggest fact is simple. BLG, Bin, Viper, and Daeny have not confirmed any of these rumors. Therefore, every report about salary cuts, internal conflict, or strategy disagreements should be treated as speculation.
Rumors often spread quickly in professional esports. However, they do not always reflect what is happening inside a team. Because of that, fans should wait for official announcements before reaching conclusions.
Final Thoughts
The rumored conflict involving Bin, Viper, Daeny, and BLG has become one of the biggest stories in the LPL this season. If the reports are accurate, BLG may be dealing with deeper issues than poor results alone. Team roles, resource allocation, and leadership could all be part of the problem.
On the other hand, the rumors may simply be false. If that is the case, the controversy could disappear once Bin returns or BLG shares its future plans.
Until then, fans should remain cautious. Right now, there is still no official confirmation from Bin, Viper, Daeny, or BLG.
