BLG vs AL: A Huge LPL 2026 Grand Final
Before the series began, BLG looked almost unstoppable. The team had a star-studded roster featuring Bin, Xun, Knight, Viper, and ON. Furthermore, BLG had already beaten AL 3-0 in the upper-bracket final. Therefore, many fans expected another comfortable victory.
AL, however, had other plans. After losing to BLG, AL faced Invictus Gaming in the lower-bracket final. The team survived a thrilling 3-2 battle and earned another chance against BLG.
This time, the result was completely different. From the opening game, AL played with confidence. Tarzan controlled the jungle and created pressure across the map. At the same time, Breathe, Shanks, and Hope consistently found ways to punish BLG.
As a result, AL quickly took control of the Grand Final.
Game 1: Tarzan Shines on Qiyana
AL started the series with a strong performance. Tarzan picked Qiyana and quickly became one of the biggest threats on the map. His movement was especially important. He repeatedly appeared at the right time and helped AL win key fights.
One major turning point came around the Dragon pit. Tarzan landed his ultimate on several BLG players and created a perfect opening for his teammates. AL then won the fight and secured a major advantage.
Later, around the 26-minute mark, Tarzan created another big play in the enemy jungle. AL picked off a BLG member and then moved toward Baron. From there, AL kept the pressure high. BLG struggled to find a safe way back into the game.
Finally, AL ended the first game around the 29-minute mark.
AL took a 1-0 lead.

Game 2: Tarzan and Breathe Push AL Ahead
In Game 2, AL continued to play aggressively. This time, Tarzan used Cho’Gath, which was an unusual but effective choice. Early on, AL created pressure across the map. Breathe also played a major role in the top lane. He repeatedly challenged Bin and gave AL a strong advantage on the side of the map.
Meanwhile, Tarzan focused on controlling important objectives. As the game moved into the mid game, AL began to dominate the major fights. The team also controlled the Dragon and Baron areas more effectively.
At around 23 minutes, AL won another important team fight and secured Baron. With that buff, AL pushed deeper into BLG territory. Consequently, BLG had very few options left.
By the 30-minute mark, AL won the final fight and closed out the game.
AL now led the series 2-0.
BLG was suddenly one loss away from elimination.

Game 3: Knight Keeps BLG Alive
BLG finally found an answer in Game 3. Knight became the main carry for BLG. Playing Akali, he made several impressive plays and constantly threatened AL’s backline. At the same time, Viper played Xayah and added another major source of damage.
BLG also improved its objective control. Around the 22-minute mark, the team won a major team fight and picked up several kills. After that, Knight continued to create pressure around the Dragon area. Viper also used every opening to deal damage.
As a result, BLG finally secured its first win of the series. The score was now 2-1. For a moment, a reverse sweep looked possible.
However, AL quickly ended those hopes.

Game 4: AL Destroys BLG to Win the Title
Game 4 became the defining moment of the Grand Final. LG selected Camille, Lee Sin, Ahri, Caitlyn, and Karma. Meanwhile, AL drafted Olaf, Maokai, Yone, Miss Fortune, and Rell. The two compositions had very different goals.
BLG wanted to use side-lane pressure and long-range poke. In contrast, AL had a much stronger team-fight setup. That difference became clear very quickly.
Around the 10-minute mark, AL’s bottom lane moved toward the top side. The team then worked with Breathe to take down Bin’s Camille. Only a minute later, AL won another fight and increased its lead.
Then, around the 14-minute mark, Tarzan made another important play on Maokai. He caught Xun’s Lee Sin and gave his teammates an easy target.
The biggest fight came around the 16-minute mark. Both teams met near the river. However, AL completely outplayed BLG. The LPL Split 3 champions-in-waiting secured four kills without losing a player.
From that point forward, BLG struggled to regain control.
Hope Creates a Historic Pentakill
If Tarzan was the brain of AL, then Hope was the team’s biggest weapon. Hope played Miss Fortune and delivered massive damage throughout the game. More importantly, AL built its team fights around Maokai and Rell. This gave Hope enough space to use his ultimate.
The final turning point came around the 30-minute mark. BLG started Baron because the team needed one last chance to return to the game. However, AL quickly moved toward the pit. Tarzan used Maokai to disrupt BLG’s formation. He also helped AL secure the Baron buff.
Then, everything collapsed for BLG. Hope activated Bullet Time and unleashed a huge amount of damage across the enemy team. One after another, BLG’s players fell.
Finally, Hope completed a Pentakill. His Miss Fortune finished the game with an incredible 13/0/5 KDA. AL then marched into the BLG base and destroyed the Nexus.
AL won Game 4 and the series 3-1.

Tarzan Wins Finals MVP
After the final Nexus exploded, Tarzan was named Finals MVP. The award was a fitting reward for one of the strongest performances of the series. Tarzan had waited a long time for his first major LPL championship. Therefore, lifting the trophy made the moment even more meaningful.
Throughout the Grand Final, Tarzan showed impressive flexibility. He played aggressive champions such as Qiyana. He also used unusual picks like Cho’Gath.
Finally, his Maokai became one of the most important tools in the deciding game. However, Tarzan’s impact was not limited to mechanics. He also controlled the pace of the game. His jungle pathing helped AL secure early advantages. In addition, his positioning created better opportunities during team fights.
Most importantly, he stayed calm when the pressure was highest.

AL Makes LPL History
The victory over BLG was much more than another series win. It was Anyone’s Legend’s first LPL championship. AL had entered the Grand Final as the underdog. Moreover, the team had already lost 0-3 to BLG in the upper-bracket final.
Yet AL completely changed the story in the rematch. Instead of playing defensively, AL attacked BLG from the start. The team also improved its team fights and objective control.
As a result, AL completed one of the biggest turnarounds of the LPL Split 3 playoffs. The championship also gives AL a major opportunity on the international stage. With the LPL title secured, the team can now look ahead to the 2026 World Championship with much greater confidence.
Meanwhile, BLG must recover from a painful defeat. The roster still has elite players such as Bin, Xun, Knight, Viper, and ON. Nevertheless, the team could not stop AL when the pressure reached its peak.
Final Thoughts
The BLG vs AL LPL Grand Final 2026 will be remembered as one of the biggest surprises of the season. BLG entered the series as the favorite. AL, however, refused to be intimidated.
Tarzan controlled the map. Breathe dominated the top side. Shanks provided key damage and engage tools. Meanwhile, Hope delivered the highlight of the series with his incredible Miss Fortune Pentakill.
In the end, AL won 3-1 and lifted its first LPL trophy.
For Tarzan, it was the championship he had waited years to win. For Hope, it was a night capped by a legendary Pentakill. And for Anyone’s Legend, it was the moment the organization finally entered LPL history.
The underdog had defeated the giant.
