Kha Y Tran The BNK FEARX (BFX) vs Dplus KIA (DK) clash became one of the most memorable series of the LCK 2026 Playoffs. At first, BFX looked ready to advance after winning the opening two games. However, once DK were pushed to the edge of elimination, everything suddenly changed.
ShowMaker and his teammates responded with three straight victories. As a result, DK completed an incredible 3-2 reverse sweep. More importantly, the victory kept their playoff journey alive and sent them into Round 2, where they will face KT Rolster.

BFX Start Strong and Push DK to the Brink
BFX entered the series with confidence. From the beginning, their preparation was clear. Not only did they draft creatively, but they also repeatedly found ways to disrupt DK’s plans.
Meanwhile, DK struggled to find consistency during the first two games. Several individual mistakes cost them control of important objectives. Therefore, BFX took full advantage and quickly built a commanding 2-0 lead.
At that point, DK were only one defeat away from elimination. However, instead of collapsing under pressure, they finally began to show their experience and resilience.
Game 1: Clear Turns K’Sante Into an Unbreakable Wall
The opening game lasted more than 42 minutes, with BFX eventually securing the victory. They finished with a 15-11 kill advantage and also led the gold count 82.2k to 77.0k.
DK drafted a composition focused on poke and pick potential. Siwoo played Jayce, Lucid selected Lee Sin, while ShowMaker controlled Syndra. However, their strategy struggled against Raptor’s aggressive Pantheon.
Raptor constantly moved around the map and helped BFX gain an early advantage. In particular, Taeyoon and Kellin created huge pressure in the bottom lane with Lucian and Milio.
Still, Clear became the biggest obstacle for DK.
His K’Sante was almost impossible to remove from the frontline. During key fights around Dragon and Baron, Clear absorbed enormous pressure. Therefore, VicLa and Taeyoon had enough space to deal damage safely from behind him.
Eventually, BFX broke through DK’s base after more than 42 minutes. With that victory, they took an early 1-0 lead in the series.
Game 2: BFX Shock DK With Top-Lane Kai’Sa
BFX continued to surprise DK in Game 2. This time, they sent Kai’Sa to the top lane for Clear, while Taeyoon played Caitlyn as the team’s AD carry.
The unusual draft gave BFX strong poke and excellent long-range pressure. Moreover, it allowed them to control waves and force DK into difficult positions.
DK still had several strong moments. In particular, ShowMaker’s Ahri repeatedly created opportunities and secured important kills. However, Lucid endured a difficult game on Jarvan IV. He was caught several times and eventually finished with eight deaths.
On the other side, Kellin’s Bard had a huge impact on teamfights. His well-timed Tempered Fate repeatedly disrupted DK’s positioning. As a result, BFX gained more control over the map.
Eventually, BFX secured three Baron buffs before ending the game after around 40 minutes. They finished with a 20-16 kill advantage and extended their series lead to 2-0.
Suddenly, DK had no room left for mistakes.
Game 3: ShowMaker Starts the Reverse Sweep
With elimination only one game away, DK completely changed their approach.
Instead of playing another slow and difficult game, they drafted a powerful teamfighting composition featuring Ambessa, Wukong, Annie, Ashe, and Seraphine.
The adjustment immediately worked.
BFX tried to create a strong frontline with Olaf and Cho’Gath. However, their composition lacked mobility. Therefore, DK could punish them with long-range crowd control and reliable engage tools.
Smash constantly created pressure with Ashe’s Enchanted Crystal Arrow. Meanwhile, ShowMaker became the key player on Annie.
He finished the game with a 4/1/4 KDA. More importantly, his well-timed Tibbers engages repeatedly gave DK the advantage in crucial teamfights.
In addition, DK controlled all four Dragons and eventually secured Baron. After around 31 minutes, they finally destroyed BFX’s Nexus.
The victory reduced the series score to 2-1. More importantly, it gave DK the momentum they desperately needed.
The reverse sweep had officially begun.
Game 4: ShowMaker’s Twisted Fate Tears the Map Apart
If Game 3 restored DK’s confidence, Game 4 was a complete statement of power.
ShowMaker selected Twisted Fate and quickly took control of the entire map. Thanks to Destiny, he constantly moved between lanes and created numerical advantages for his team.
Consequently, BFX struggled to find any safe space to farm.
In particular, Taeyoon and Kellin’s Zeri-Yuumi combination never had enough time to reach its full potential. Whenever BFX attempted to stabilize the game, DK simply attacked somewhere else.
Meanwhile, Lucid created constant pressure with Naafiri. Career’s Lulu also provided valuable protection, allowing Smash’s Yunara to deal damage safely during fights.
DK continued to increase their advantage. Eventually, BFX simply could not keep up with the pace.
After only 22 minutes, DK destroyed BFX’s Nexus. They finished the game with a dominant 16-6 kill score and tied the series at 2-2.
Just two games earlier, DK were staring at a possible 0-3 elimination. Now, however, they had forced a decisive Game 5.
Game 5: DK Complete an Incredible Reverse Sweep
In the final game, DK once again surprised BFX during the draft.
Siwoo played Varus in the top lane, while Lucid selected Kindred and ShowMaker picked Taliyah. Together, Kindred and Taliyah quickly took control of the jungle and mid lane.
From the first major objective fights, DK gained the upper hand. Afterward, they continued to increase their gold lead while controlling almost every part of the map.
ShowMaker used Taliyah’s abilities to separate BFX’s formation. At the same time, Lucid’s Lamb’s Respite made BFX’s attempts to dive into DK far less effective.
Therefore, BFX found almost no opportunity to fight back.
DK’s dominance became even clearer through the turret score. They destroyed eight towers without losing a single one. In other words, BFX failed to take even one DK turret throughout the entire deciding game.
After just 24 minutes, DK closed the game with another 16-6 kill score.
More importantly, they officially completed the incredible reverse sweep from 0-2 down to a 3-2 victory.
ShowMaker Leads DK’s Incredible Comeback
The BFX vs DK series showed two completely different versions of Dplus KIA.
During the first two games, DK often allowed BFX to dictate the pace. However, everything changed from Game 3 onward.
ShowMaker was at the heart of that transformation.
First, his Annie helped DK finally secure their first victory of the series. Then, his Twisted Fate completely controlled the map in Game 4. Finally, his Taliyah played another crucial role in the decisive fifth game.
Lucid also improved significantly after his difficult Game 2. His Wukong, Naafiri, and especially Kindred helped DK regain control of the jungle.
Moreover, Smash and Career became increasingly reliable as the series progressed. Therefore, DK looked far more coordinated during the final three games than they had at the beginning of the series.
BFX Leave the Series With Huge Regret
For BFX, this defeat will undoubtedly be difficult to accept.
They held a 2-0 lead and needed only one more victory to close the best-of-five series. Furthermore, they showed several creative ideas in the draft, especially Clear’s top-lane Kai’Sa in Game 2.
Clear, Raptor, VicLa, Taeyoon, and Kellin all produced strong moments throughout the series.
Nevertheless, BFX could not maintain their pressure once DK adjusted their strategy.
As ShowMaker and his teammates began controlling the tempo, BFX gradually lost their ability to dictate fights. In particular, the final two games highlighted the difference between the teams. DK gained early advantages and then quickly snowballed them into dominant victories.
Ultimately, what began as a dream 2-0 lead ended in a painful 2-3 defeat for BFX.
DK Advance to LCK 2026 Playoffs Round 2 Against KT Rolster
The 3-2 victory over BFX did more than simply keep DK alive. It also demonstrated their ability to adapt under enormous pressure in a best-of-five series.
After falling behind 0-2, DK won three consecutive games. Even more impressively, their final two victories both came in under 25 minutes.
Once again, ShowMaker stepped up when his team needed him most. At the same time, Siwoo, Lucid, Smash, and Career found their rhythm at exactly the right moment.
Therefore, after completing a spectacular reverse sweep against BNK FEARX, Dplus KIA continue their journey through the LCK 2026 Playoffs. Their next challenge will be KT Rolster in Round 2.
Most importantly, DK’s emotional comeback sends a clear warning to every remaining playoff contender. Dplus KIA can be pushed to the brink. However, as BFX discovered, finishing them off in a best-of-five series is an entirely different challenge.
