Kha Y Tran T1 produced one of their best performances of the season by defeating Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) 2-0 in the League of Legends Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 quarterfinals. The reigning World Champions controlled both games from start to finish. As a result, they secured a comfortable victory and booked a place in the semifinals.
The series looked much different from their previous LCK meetings. This time, T1 dominated the map, won every key objective, and gave HLE very few chances to fight back.

T1 take full control in Game 1
The opening game started at a steady pace. Both teams played carefully during the first few minutes. However, the match quickly changed after T1 caught Kanavi near the first Dragon.
