Team Vietnam finishes seventh at PNC 2026
Team Vietnam ended PNC 2026 in seventh place with 94 points. The team earned 39 placement points and 55 kills during 15 Grand Finals matches.
Although the result was lower than last year’s championship, it was still a solid finish. Every team at PNC 2026 played at a very high level. Therefore, staying in the top half of the standings remained a strong achievement.
Brazil won the tournament with 124 points. Meanwhile, South Korea finished second with only five points fewer.
Defending the title was much harder
Winning a championship is difficult. However, defending one is even harder.
Last year, Team Vietnam surprised many fans by winning the title. This year, the situation was different. Every opponent had already studied Vietnam’s playstyle. As a result, the defending champions faced much more pressure.
Players like Himass, Delwyn, TanVuu, and Solozy entered every match knowing that other teams expected them to perform well.
Even so, they continued to compete with confidence. They also stayed calm during difficult moments.
Three WWCDs proved Vietnam’s fighting spirit
The new tournament meta created fresh challenges. Matches became faster, and circle shifts were less predictable. In addition, every national team arrived with better preparation.
Even under those conditions, Team Vietnam still won three WWCDs.
Moreover, the team claimed two straight victories late in the tournament. Those wins gave fans hope again. At the same time, they showed the team’s strong mentality.
Instead of giving up, Vietnam fought until the final day. That determination became one of the team’s biggest strengths.
Vietnamese esports continues to improve
The biggest success at PNC 2026 was not only the final ranking.
Instead, the tournament showed how professional Vietnamese esports has become.
Today, success depends on more than player skill. Teams also need coaches, analysts, strategy planning, and mental preparation.
Vietnam has improved in all of these areas. Because of that, local teams can now compete with the strongest nations in the world.

Vietnam has earned global respect
A few years ago, Vietnam entered international events as an underdog.
Now, the situation has changed.
After winning PNC 2025, Team Vietnam became one of the favorites. Every opponent prepared carefully before facing them.
Although Vietnam finished seventh this year, other teams still respected them. That shows the country’s success is no longer a surprise.
Instead, Vietnam has become one of PUBG’s strongest national teams.
PNC 2026 attracted huge audiences
The tournament also showed PUBG’s lasting popularity.
According to KRAFTON, the final day reached more than 800,000 peak viewers.
This number proves that PUBG still has a large global community. In addition, Vietnamese fans continued to support Team Vietnam throughout the event.
That support will help the scene grow even more in the future.
The future looks bright
Team Vietnam did not return home with another trophy. Nevertheless, the tournament was still an important step forward.
The team remained competitive against the world’s best players. They adapted to the new meta and gained more international experience. Furthermore, Vietnam strengthened its position on the global PUBG stage.
PNC 2026 showed that Vietnamese esports is moving in the right direction.
If this progress continues, Team Vietnam will have many more chances to compete for international titles in the years ahead.
