🧑🍳 Brother Hai—a man living inside his memories
Brother Hai isn’t a hero. He’s a middle-aged man running a small pho shop, living alone with his dog, Cậu Vàng. But as you progress through the game, cracks begin to show:
- Old photos hint at someone he lost.
- Recurring dreams replay a rainy night, a voice calling, and a disappearance.
- Strange customers arrive at odd hours—they don’t eat, they just… stare.
Brother Hai isn’t just serving food. He’s hiding from something—from grief, from guilt, from himself. And the pho shop is his last attempt to hold onto something warm and familiar.
🍜 The pho bowl—comfort or memory?
The pho isn’t just food. It’s a symbol of care, of lost connection, of memory. Each customer orders it differently—no scallions, extra fried dough, no broth. These odd requests reflect personalities, pain, or even secrets.
One customer orders a dish identical to the one in a photo of a woman from Hai’s past. Another orders but never eats. The pho becomes a portal to Brother Hai’s memories, the one thing that still connects him to reality.
