Mitya is one of the most exciting new characters expected in Genshin Impact Version 7.2. His early kit shows a strong focus on Electro damage and Lunar-Charged reactions.
More importantly, Mitya can fill two roles. He can be an on-field DPS. He can also deal damage from off the field. His kit uses a special mechanic called Stellar Crystals. These crystals work with his Energy Device. They also power several of his attacks.
However, Mitya’s current kit is based on early information. HoYoverse may still change his numbers and effects before release.

Mitya’s Basic Stats and Role
Mitya is an Electro DPS. His kit is built around Lunar-Charged reactions.
His current Level 90 stats are:
- HP: 11,634
- ATK: 263
- DEF: 792
- CRIT DMG: 4%
- Elemental Mastery: 100
Elemental Mastery is an important stat for Mitya. His kit also gives him more CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. As a result, he can gain strong reaction damage. He can also deal high personal damage.
Mitya’s Normal and Charged Attacks
Mitya’s Normal Attack has three hits. All three attacks deal Electro DMG. His normal Charged Attack consumes Stamina. It then deals AoE Electro damage.
However, this attack changes when Mitya uses his Collapsed Energy Device. He also needs at least one Stellar Crystal.
In this state, his Charged Attack becomes Crystal Accumulation. Crystal Accumulation does not consume Stamina. Instead, it uses Stellar Crystals. Each crystal can trigger another AoE Electro attack. These attacks count as Lunar-Charged reaction damage.
Therefore, this mechanic is key to Mitya’s on-field playstyle.

Mitya’s Elemental Skill
Mitya’s Elemental Skill has two forms. The form depends on whether players tap or hold the Skill.
Stable Energy Device
Tapping the Skill creates a Stable Energy Device. The device follows the active character. It also deals AoE Electro damage from time to time. The device can interact with Stellar Crystals.
If Mitya creates too many crystals, the extra crystals are consumed. This activates Crystal Surge. Crystal Surge deals AoE Electro damage. The damage also counts as Lunar-Charged reaction damage.
When the Stable Energy Device disappears, it consumes Mitya’s remaining Stellar Crystals. This activates Shattered Crystal. Its damage depends on the number of crystals consumed.
Because of this, the Stable Energy Device suits an off-field playstyle.
Collapsed Energy Device
Holding the Elemental Skill creates a Collapsed Energy Device. This form supports Mitya’s on-field playstyle.
While the device is active, Mitya can use Crystal Accumulation. He only needs at least one Stellar Crystal. He can then consume crystals to trigger repeated Electro attacks.
This gives Mitya a simple damage loop. Generate crystals, consume them, and trigger Lunar-Charged reactions.

Mitya’s Elemental Burst
Mitya’s Elemental Burst deals AoE Electro DMG. After that, it creates three Stellar Crystals. These crystals are very important. Several parts of Mitya’s kit use them.
Therefore, his Burst does more than deal damage. It also gives him resources for his next rotation. This can help Mitya start his damage cycle more quickly.
Mitya’s Passive Talents
Mitya’s passive talents add more effects to his kit. His first Ascension Passive changes based on his Energy Device. With the Stable Energy Device, each Stellar Crystal gives nearby party members 30 Elemental Mastery. This effect makes Mitya more useful as a support unit.
The Collapsed Energy Device works differently. After Mitya triggers Lunar-Charged, it can create one Stellar Crystal every 1.5 seconds. His second Ascension Passive improves his Stellar Crystals. Collected crystals can remain for up to 10 seconds. Mitya also gains 5% CRIT Rate when he collects a crystal. This effect can stack up to four times.
Therefore, Mitya can gain up to 20% extra CRIT Rate from this effect. The duration lasts for 15 seconds. Collecting another crystal also refreshes the effect.
Mitya’s Main Passive
Mitya’s main passive is closely linked to Lunar-Charged. When a character in the team triggers Superconduct, the reaction becomes Lunar-Charged. The reaction also creates a Stellar Crystal after 1.5 seconds.
Mitya can also increase the base damage of Lunar-Charged. The bonus depends on his Elemental Mastery.
Every point of Elemental Mastery gives 0.028% more base reaction damage. The bonus has a maximum of 14%.
Because of this, Elemental Mastery is a key stat for Mitya.
Mitya’s Constellations
Mitya’s Constellations provide several powerful upgrades.
C1
C1 increases his Stellar Crystal limit to five. His Elemental Skill also creates one Stellar Crystal.
While the Energy Device is active, the current character gains 50% CRIT DMG. Mitya can also restore Energy when he consumes a Stellar Crystal.
C2
C2 reduces nearby enemies’ Cryo and Electro RES by 25%. It also gives more Elemental Mastery. The amount depends on the Energy Device used by Mitya.
C3
C3 increases the level of Mitya’s Elemental Skill by three.
C4
C4 adds extra Lunar-Charged damage. The effect activates after Mitya consumes five Stellar Crystals.
C5
C5 increases his Normal Attack level by three.
C6
C6 gives Mitya a chance to create another Stellar Crystal. This happens when he consumes a crystal through his Energy Device. C6 also increases Lunar-Charged damage dealt by the entire team.
Overall, his Constellations focus heavily on his crystal and reaction mechanics.

Mitya’s Signature 5-Star Weapon
Mitya’s signature weapon is also built around his main stats.
At Level 90, it has:
- Base ATK: 542
- CRIT DMG: 88.2%
Its passive gives another 24% CRIT DMG. After Mitya uses his Elemental Skill, he gains 48 Elemental Mastery for 20 seconds. Nearby party members can then trigger Elemental Reactions to create stacks. Each stack gives 24 Elemental Mastery. The weapon also boosts Lunar-Charged reaction CRIT DMG.
As a result, the weapon works very well with Mitya’s kit. It gives him both CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery. These are two important stats for his current design.

Mitya’s Two Playstyles
Mitya can potentially work in two different ways.
First, he can be an on-field Electro DPS. Players can hold his Elemental Skill. They can then enter the Collapsed Energy Device state. After that, Mitya can use Crystal Accumulation. The attack consumes Stellar Crystals and deals Lunar-Charged damage. This playstyle focuses on Mitya’s personal damage.

The second option is an off-field DPS build. Players can tap his Elemental Skill to create the Stable Energy Device. Then, they can switch to another character. The device continues to deal Electro damage. Mitya can also provide Elemental Mastery and reaction support.
Therefore, his kit offers more flexibility than a typical on-field DPS.

Early Thoughts on Mitya’s Kit
Mitya’s leaked kit has several impressive numbers. His kit gives him extra CRIT Rate. It can also provide a large amount of CRIT DMG.
At the same time, his Elemental Mastery scaling supports Lunar-Charged reactions. His Stellar Crystal system also connects most of his abilities. The Skill creates the Energy Device. The Burst creates Stellar Crystals. His Charged Attack then consumes them. This creates a clear gameplay loop.
However, players should wait for official information. Mitya’s current kit comes from an early Version 7.2 build. HoYoverse can still change his damage and effects. His Constellations may also be adjusted before release.
Mitya is currently expected to arrive in Genshin Impact Version 7.2 in early November 2026. Until then, all leaked details should be treated as subject to change.
