Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) stayed in top form after defeating Weibo Gaming (WBG) 2-0 in LPL 2026 Split 3 on July 30.
Throughout the series, NiP played with great discipline. They controlled every major objective and made better decisions around the map. As a result, WBG never found a real chance to turn the series around.
Meanwhile, Weibo Gaming entered the match looking to bounce back after an inconsistent start to the split. However, they failed to convert their early advantages into meaningful objectives. Consequently, NiP punished every mistake and secured another convincing victory.

NiP vs WBG Result – July 30
- Tournament: LPL 2026 Split 3 – Group Nirvana
- Date: July 30, 2026
- Match: Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Weibo Gaming
- Final Score: NiP 2-0 WBG
- Format: Best-of-Three (BO3)
Game 1: NiP Dominate with Clean Macro Play
Game 1 began at a slow pace. Both teams focused on farming and vision control. Therefore, the early game remained even.
However, everything changed when the first major objectives spawned. NiP rotated much faster around the Rift Herald and Dragon. As a result, they slowly built a gold lead.
In addition, NiP’s frontline created excellent opportunities for their carries. Meanwhile, the damage dealers stayed safe and dealt consistent damage throughout every fight.
WBG tried several times to fight back. Even so, they repeatedly lost the most important teamfights. After securing Baron Nashor, NiP quickly destroyed multiple towers and took full control of the map.
Finally, NiP won another decisive fight near the Elder Dragon. They then pushed through the middle lane and destroyed WBG’s Nexus to take Game 1.

Game 2: WBG Start Strong, but NiP Finish the Series
Weibo Gaming looked much more aggressive in the second game.
Early on, WBG created pressure across the map. Their laners performed well, while the jungler successfully helped the side lanes. Because of that, the gold difference stayed very close.
Nevertheless, NiP remained calm.
Instead of forcing risky fights, they waited for the right opportunity. At the same time, they controlled vision and limited WBG’s options.
The biggest turning point came around the Baron fight.
NiP executed a perfect teamfight and eliminated several WBG players. Immediately afterward, they secured Baron Nashor.
With the Baron buff, NiP quickly pushed down several towers. They also gained complete control of the map.
From that point forward, WBG had almost no chance to recover. NiP controlled every major objective and continued to win teamfights.
Eventually, they claimed one final victory inside WBG’s base and completed the clean 2-0 sweep.

Why NiP Won the Series
Excellent Objective Control
First, NiP consistently secured Dragons, Rift Heralds, and Baron Nashor. These objectives allowed them to control the pace from start to finish.
Better Teamfighting
Next, NiP showed stronger teamwork. Their engages were well-timed, while their carries always stayed in safe positions.
Superior Macro
Another key factor was macro play.
Instead of chasing unnecessary kills, NiP focused on towers, vision, and neutral objectives. Therefore, every successful fight gave them a lasting advantage.
Strong Mentality
Even when WBG gained early pressure in Game 2, NiP never panicked. Instead, they stayed patient and waited for the perfect moment to strike.
WBG Still Need More Consistency
Although WBG lost the series 0-2, they still showed some positive moments.
Their early-game setups were solid, and several players displayed strong mechanics. Unfortunately, they could not maintain that level throughout the series.
More importantly, WBG struggled around major objectives. Every time NiP secured Baron or Dragon Soul, the game quickly slipped away.
If Weibo Gaming want to climb the standings, they must improve both their objective control and late-game decision-making.
What This Victory Means for NiP
This win gives NiP another important result in LPL 2026 Split 3.
More importantly, the team continues to look stronger with every series. Their macro, objective control, and teamfighting have become major strengths.
If NiP maintain this level of performance, they could become one of the top contenders in Group Nirvana.
Meanwhile, WBG must regroup before their next match. The roster still has plenty of talent. However, the team needs better coordination and more consistent decision-making if they hope to challenge the top teams later in the split.
