Slayder Confirms His Retirement
Slayder recently announced that he will no longer compete in professional League of Legends. The news quickly spread across the Vietnamese esports community. As expected, many fans thanked him for everything he achieved.
His retirement closes an important chapter for VCS. After all, very few players stay at the top level for an entire decade.
Although he is leaving the competitive stage, his legacy will remain. Many younger players still look up to him today.
A Decade of Professional Competition
Slayder began his esports career nearly ten years ago. During that time, VCS changed in many ways. New teams appeared, metas shifted, and young stars entered the league.
Even so, Slayder continued to compete at the highest level.
He played for several famous organizations, including:
- Team Flash
- GAM Esports
- Cerberus Esports
- Nigma Galaxy
Each team helped shape his career. Likewise, every season gave him new experience.
Why Slayder Stood Out
Slayder became one of Vietnam’s best ADC players for several reasons.
First, he had excellent mechanics. His movement during team fights was always clean and efficient.
Second, he understood positioning better than many players. Therefore, he often survived difficult fights while dealing huge damage.
In addition, he adapted well to every meta. Riot Games changed League of Legends many times. However, Slayder continued to perform.
Finally, he stayed calm during important matches. Because of that, coaches trusted him in high-pressure situations.
A Successful Move Overseas
One of the biggest moments in Slayder’s career came when he joined Nigma Galaxy.
Instead of staying in Vietnam, he decided to play abroad. This gave him the chance to face stronger competition. It also helped him gain valuable international experience.
More importantly, the move greatly improved his income.
According to reports, Slayder earned around 300 million VND per month while playing overseas. Although the exact salary was never officially confirmed, it showed how valuable top Vietnamese players can become.
Preparing for Life After Esports
Many professional players wait until retirement to think about their future.
Slayder chose a different path.
After his first season with Nigma Galaxy, he reportedly invested part of his earnings in real estate. As a result, he built a stable financial foundation before ending his career.
This decision surprised many fans. However, it also earned him a great deal of respect.
Today, he can retire knowing he has prepared well for the future.
Why Financial Planning Matters
An esports career is usually short.
Players face constant pressure every season. In addition, they must deal with injuries, stress, roster changes, and tough competition.
Because of these challenges, many professionals retire before the age of 30.
Therefore, managing money wisely is extremely important.
Slayder understood this early. Instead of spending everything he earned, he invested in long-term assets. Consequently, he now has greater freedom to choose his next career.
Slayder’s Legacy in VCS
Winning trophies is important. However, Slayder’s impact goes beyond championships.
He inspired many young ADC players across Vietnam. Furthermore, he showed that hard work and consistency can lead to a long career.
Fans will remember him for several reasons.
- Excellent mechanics
- Smart positioning
- Reliable performances
- International experience
- Professional attitude
These qualities made him one of the most respected players in VCS history.
What Comes Next?
Although Slayder has retired as a player, he may remain active in esports.
Many former professionals become streamers or content creators. Others become coaches, analysts, or team ambassadors.
Slayder has enough experience to succeed in any of these roles.
Furthermore, his financial stability gives him time to make the right decision. He does not need to rush into another career.
Fans will certainly continue to support him wherever he goes.
The End of an Era
Slayder’s retirement marks the end of one of the greatest careers in Vietnamese League of Legends.
For ten years, he competed against the best players in the region. He represented top organizations, played overseas, and earned the respect of fans throughout his journey.
Although he is leaving professional play, his influence on VCS will not disappear.
Instead, Slayder leaves behind an example of dedication, professionalism, and smart planning. His story proves that success in esports is not only about winning games. It is also about preparing for life after competition.
With his career now complete, Slayder will always be remembered as one of the greatest AD carries in Vietnamese League of Legends history.
